This is a common scene around here...from left to right is Fortinbras, Slick, and Lolly. Mornings like this make it hard to get out of bed. When these guys sleep, they really sleep.

Is Fortinbras from Hamlet? Why did you decide to name him that? They sure are cute... I thought only cats did that!
yes, fortinbras is from hamlet but what's more, it is the name of the dog in "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle---a truly geeky book for kids. made a huge impression on me when i was like 10.
the dog in the book was named from the play and my fortinbras was named from the book.

when i was a kid!
i wanted to be a physicist because of it...
well, before i took physics!
